About Us
We are an Operational Community Center for Assistance and Comprehensive Child Development. Racham is a hebrew verb that means compassion that leads us to action for the benefit of the other.
We are a safe space, where we seek to awaken the identity and vocation of each child, so that they can discover their own abilities and value. We promote collaboration with the family and the community. We celebrate the discovery of the purpose of life and we ensure the rights as citizens.
Our Mission & Vision
Mission
To Provide a safe environment of inspiration, support and development for each child , their families and their community.
Vision
We seek to see restored and transformed children who inspire hope and contribute to society in a positive way.
Our Values
Individual: We look at the process of each child and create an individualized strategy for their situation, one child at a time.
Hope: We understand the challenges that children face, but we look forward into the future with great hope, showing the opportunities they can have.
Tenacity: Boldness that leads us to advocacy, to raise our voices in situations of injustice, with perseverance and courage.
Holistic Family Restoration: We focus on the child’s development, but we seek family restoration, that’s why we always work with the family, not just for them.
Spiritual Mentoring: Faith is a crucial capacity for human flourishing. For this reason, we walk in relationship with the children, accompanying them and encouraging them in the expression of their faith.
Empowerment: We seek to transform the mentality acquired in a context of poverty to show them that it is possible to overcome and grow in their own potential. We do this by identifying and developing the child’s abilities, creating interdependence to pursue their dreams and goals in order to have a better future.

Our Staff
Omega
Hello, I’m Omega Garcia. I’m 33 years old and from Mexico.
I have a degree in Business Development and Innovation as an Engineer. I came to know God at 7 years old. With my relationship with God, I decided to dedicate my life to serve Him, leaving my city and my family to focus in missions full-time.
One of the places I specifically felt called to was Cerro Del 8, where for 8 years I’ve been investing in creating relationships with the community in a deeper way. My desire is to impact the society and the families that are most vulnerable in Mazatlan.
Colter
Hello I’m Colter and I’m from St. Louis, Missouri in the USA.
I’m currently full-time staff in Racham. Before joining Racham I felt God has given me a heart to love on and disciple the next generation, especially here in Mazaltán. My desire is to share with them the love and blessings that God has shared with me.
I have the privilege of being a teacher and mentor of both our kids and teenagers. I work with both groups teaching them about Jesus, the Bible, and disciple them in how to live our lives in a way that reflects Jesus! I love to be able to teach and also connect with our kiddos. It is important to me to build friendships and trust with each and every child that comes to Racham.

We are currently serving as staff part time with Racham. We work with children who are at risk inside the neighborhoods of Mazatlan – Mexico. We teach the teenagers and work with the kids in the ministry.
We have worked with several children’s ministries and we fell in love with the vision that God has for this ministry and for these kids
Our Volunteers
Ricardo
Hello my name is Ricardo, I am 15 years old and I am from Mazatlan, Sinaloa.
Since I was little, God used Racham to impact my life. Now, I want to be a tool of God to impact the lives of the children and youth in this ministry. Today I am in high school, and I also volunteer at Racham on Tuesdays teaching physical activities, like soccer for the children. I also help with the adolescent’s community group, where we share the word and spend quality time with them.
A fun fact about me is that since I was a child I have had a passion for soccer, and 2 years ago God gave me the opportunity to be in a club where I still play, one of my dreams is to be a professional soccer player or study something related to physical education or soccer.
Oyuky
Hello I’m Oyuky, I’m 19 years old and I live in Mazatlan, Sinaloa.
I grew up in the Racham Ministry. It has been very special in my life because this is the place God showed me His love and His mercy. It’s one of the main reasons I have decided to study Social Work in the university in my first year. Currently, I’m serving in the ministry in my free time, helping in any area that needs help, especially with the adolescents of the community.
Carolina
Hello, my name is Carolina Martinez Zapata, I am 18 years old, and I am from Mazatlan, Sinaloa.
I grew up in the Racham Mininstry and currently, I’m studying to finish my high school studies and enter university, and a few months ago I started as a volunteer in Racham. I’m helping with the afternoon activities with the children and in any other activity that requires help, like the Thrift Store for a Good Cause in Racham. On Fridays, I give the folklore dance classes to the girls. I enjoy serving God and others a lot. I remember a lot of what God’s word says in Matthew 10:8, to give in grace of what I have received.
